Belly Dancer Pendant - Altered Rummikub by Guest Designer Wendy Waldorf

Our Guest Designer April, Wendy Waldorf, has done it again with this beautiful upcycled project from an old game piece. Here is a sneak peak of her full project over at her blog Wendy Lynn's Paper Whims.

Recycling and repurposing game pieces is so much fun. You can usually pick up old games at yard sales and thrift shops. You can alter dominoes, rummikubs, checkers, poker pieces, memory game cards, etc. so easily. With some scissors, glue and a paper source you can transform just about anything. Paper sources include junk mail, collage sheets, rubber stamps, digital stamps, scribbles, etc. The best projects are made with a combination of elements. So get out your craft supplies and make a treasure out of trash!

Leave a comment below or on her blog post at Windy Lynn's Paper Whims to thank her for sharing today's inspiration. We hare so happy to have her as a Guest Designer for the month of April. Keen an eye out this month for more from Wendy!

Clean and Simple

Hey everyone it's Dana here.  I have a question for you.  Do you normally make over the top card with lots of details but find at times you really just need a clean and simple card?  Well do I have an easy card to show that less can be more.

Head on over to my blog to see this classic Clean and Simple Card.  No fuss with glitter, ribbons and the like.  Just one stamp set and two ink pads.
Have a great day everyone!
