#167 Challenge Update and a Peekaboo

Happy Easter!! I am sure many of you are busy celebrating Easter and watching the kiddos scramble for eggs! I had a fun time with my kids yesterday at a community Easter Celebration. I wasn't excited about going originally, but I knew it was worth it when my youngest son looked at me and said, "Mommy, this is a really good day." It melted my heart!

Well, our Cross Promotion Challenge is still going on with Flourish with a Bling. Their challenge goes for the month of April, so get your entries in!

Now for a bit of inspiration.

Normally I make cards with an image of a single person as the focal point. Today I would like to share one using a stamp with more scenery. For the full card, hop on over to my blog, She's Sew Crafty!
Mo's Digital Pencil, My friend colored with Copics and placed on a card using MME papers and Paper flowers

Using Veneer and Watered Acrylic Paint

Hi everyone!

Deborah here! With wood veneer and masking all the rage lately, I have combined those two in a card I created using some watered down acrylic paint in a spray bottle.  A very simple and inexpensive way to have various spray colors for your projects!

Stop by my blog for a full photo and more information on how to have some mixed media fun with a few simple steps.

Don't forget to play along and link up for this weeks Party Time Tuesday's challenge of using DIES! Check out some of the Party Planners inspirations for using dies on their projects.  Thanks for stopping by!

Little Walker

Hi all! It's Danielle here to share some vintage card inspiration! I love Maja paper, but it is pricey and hard to find as it comes all the way from Sweden and I'm in California! I am so glad I carry it in my store now, so that I can play with some it! BUT, I like to make what I have last, so I use every last scrap!
This card uses scraps and cardstock for the design and I am very pleased with how lovely frugal looks ;)

For a full picture of my card and the details of products and Copics that I have used, please stop by my blog. And if you have time to leave a comment, I would be so happy to read it!
